Guided mountain landscape photography and wild camping workshops in the beautiful English Lake District
Guided walking days, wild camping, sunset and sunrise photography workshops and navigation workshops all fully guided by myself a qualified mountain leader and landscape photographer. My workshops and tours will take you to some stunning mountain locations where the usual photography tours don’t go. The Lake District which is now a UNESCO world heritage site is a haven for adventurers and landscape photographers with so many fells to choose from there’s something for everyone. From a family day out on Catbells to an adventurous two day wild camp on Scafell Pike I can cater for your needs.
Why choose me
I have a passion for the outdoors especially our hills and mountains here in the UK and have been exploring and wild camping in them for many years. I’m a member of the Mountain Training Association and the BMC and hold the summer mountain leader award and the current outdoor first aid certificate, so you can be assured you would be in safe hands. Originally from North Wales but currently based in Cumbria I have an intimate knowledge of The Lake District and Snowdonia and can tailor your trip to your requirements.
My passion for the outdoors goes hand in hand for my love of landscape photography. Having been published in outdoor magazines and shortlisted for Trail mountain photo of the year 2016, this inspires me to push my own limits further but also to help others in their own photography journey. With my photographic experience and being able to guide you safely to remote locations you will get the best possible results and learn some valuable new skills.
I can offer 1-2-1 tailored workshops or small groups for photography days, I also offer 1-2-1 or group walking days without photography tuition.
Ever wanted to watch the sun come up from the top of a mountain? Why not be more adventurous and join me on one of my wild camping workshops? We will spend the night camping in the hills and get to capture the kind of light most people don’t get to see and be perfectly placed for the sunset and sunrise and hopefully some astrophotography.
