Whether you have a small group or you want to join in on one of my upcoming events, I can cater for your needs. We will have a full day in the Lake District with photography tuition. Designed with the beginner and amateur photographer in mind, this course will help you better understand your camera, taking you out of auto mode and learning to use your equipment to its full potential, in semi/full manual mode

I offer 1-2-1 tuition for a full or half day, fully bespoke to your needs, within the Lake District national park. I can cater for any levels of walk, if you want to head high up into the fells and catch a sunrise, or just want a tour of the Lakes and Valleys, then I can arrange all the logistics and leave you to have a great day out whilst pushing your photography onto the next level.

Do you want to get away from the ‘honey pot’ photography locations and head high into the mountains where other workshops don’t go. Holding the mountain leader qualification and REC first aid certificate, I can safely guide you to those hard to reach locations. With more than 150 higher tops in The Lake District, with four of those being over 3000 feet, there are plenty of options to choose from. If you want to capture the sunset from the top of Helvellyn, or be on the summit of Scafell Pike for sunrise, I can arrange all the planning, navigation and safety, so you can be in the right place at the right time to capture those stunning Lake District Vistas.

Aimed for the more adventurous photographer, these wild camping photography workshops will take you high up in the Lakeland fells, where we will spend the night camping under the stars. Being able to capture the light is at it’s best is a crucial factor in landscape photography, and the best light is often an hour before or after sunrise or sunset. These wild camping workshops will give you the best opportunity to capture the majesty of The Lake District from high up in the mountains at sunrise, sunset and even when the stars come out. Photography tuition provided, including low light, long exposure photography and astrophotography tuition, clear skies permitting.
