Lake District Wild Camping Photography Workshops
Our Lake District wild camping photography workshops are the best way to experience the freedom of being in the mountains and the best way to capture the beautiful sunsets and sunrises from high up in the Lakeland fells. Most people don’t get to capture those special moments as the best time is often an hour after sunset or an hour before sunrise. We will also hopefully look at some astrophotography (clear skies permitting) This workshop is designed for the beginner and amateur landscape photographer who wants to take their photography to the next level.
We will cover the following topics :-
Use of manual modes
Depth of field
Use of filters vs exposure blending
Shooting in Raw format and a crash course and workflow for editing in Adobe Lightroom
You will also learn how to look after yourselves in the mountains by learning about route finding, map reading, camp craft and the ethics of wild camping.
I can tailor these workshops to your needs and requirements so please get in touch. Otherwise I have a few pre-arranged options to choose from below.
Camping gear included if required will be tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, cooking equipment and head torch. You will have to bring your own rucksack, boots (good waterproof hiking boots) waterproof coat and trousers, your camera gear etc. I will email a full kit list upon booking.
